Pequot Tool staff has reached an all time high with their March food share!

PTM has been doing food share month every March for longer than we can remember. Our initiative for Giving was kicked off when Pequot Tool and Manufacturing started, championed by co-founder Agnes Goerges as she felt the need to give back to her community. This is a month long push every year lead by our internal fundraising committee. They put on fun events for employees and create incentives for giving. We have had silent auctions, medallion hunts, bake sales, gun raffles, cook-offs, penny wars, and laser metal art sales.
Each year we have raised at least $5,000-$8,000 to give to the local food shelves, this year we got to $11,000 with our activities and then were met with generous matching grants from Tito’s Handmade Vodka and our Board of Directors to get to a grand total of $20,000!!! All of the proceeds have been given to the Lakes Area Food Shelf and the Pine River Area Food Shelf.
Metal Art Sales: $2,445.00
Penny Wars: $362.31
Silent Auction: $3,631.00
GunPlus Raffle: $4,150.00
Cash Donation from staff: $628.69

Pequot Tool is proud of our employees for fostering a culture of Giving. This generosity to the community positively impacts so many and is obviously a meaningful mission for them!
