About Your Chamber

About Us

The Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce is a regional business association that works to build profitability for our members today and prosperity for our communities tomorrow. Together with our northern chambers in Crosslake and Pequot Lakes as well as our southern Welcome Center on Hwy 371, we proudly serve the entire Brainerd Lakes Area.

Incorporated first as the Board of Trade in 1882, we have built upon a storied history to become one of the largest Chambers of Commerce in Minnesota. Our Chamber is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, managed by professional staff, and powered by more than 1,000 members and their 20,000 employees.

Our administrative office is also home to the Brainerd Lakes Area Economic Development Corporation (BLAEDC), an independent organization that leads business attraction and expansion efforts. Other area chambers include the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber and Nisswa Chamber.
