Meet the new General Manager at R & J Broadcasting, Dan McKnight!

Brainerd and Aitkin’s six station radio cluster, R & J Broadcasting has a new General Manager at the helm; Dan McKnight, who assumed his duties as General Manager January 2021. As General Manager, McKnight will oversee daily operations for their six stations, KKIN 94.3, KKIN 930am (The Gobbler), TALK 100, CASH 95.9, 1270am, and SKEETER 101.5.

McKnight comes to Minnesota from his hometown of Dothan, Alabama (who of course says “ROLL TIDE”); and has more than 25 years of media sales experience working in various markets and positions. He is known for his excellent managerial skills, leadership approach, and decision-making qualities.

McKnight said he is “excited and honored” to lead the stations. He hopes to use his experience in media to enhance the quality of the stations and to make things better for the local advertisers as well as for the community.
