There’s an excitement in the air as we welcome spring and a new tourism season! Now is the perfect time to come together with other local businesses and get ready for the influx of summer travel.
Hosted in partnership with the Brainerd Lakes Chamber, Crosslake Chamber, Pequot Lakes Chamber, Nisswa Chamber, and Cuyuna Lakes Chamber, we’re excited to announce the Lakes Area Summer Kickoff tourism event at Grand View Lodge! We have a fun and informational event planned for you!

Statewide leaders from Explore Minnesota and Hospitality Minnesota are our special guests to give you updates on statewide tourism efforts.

Lauren Bennett McGinty, the new director for Explore Minnesota, will share insights on tourism across Minnesota, the vision of Minnesota tourism, and preview of upcoming summer marketing campaigns.
Hospitality Minnesota
Liz Rammer from Hospitality Minnesota will also preview the tourism outlook, give an update on legislation that affects lodging and restaurants, and discuss workforce and other important government issues.
