This Wednesday, December 16th, Governor Walz will announce whether he will end or extend business closures on Friday, December 18. Together with the Minnesota Ready Coalition of more than 80 chambers and business associations, we are respectfully urging the Governor to end the pause.
Our businesses are ready to reopen their doors while keeping their customers and communities safe. While we continue to call for state and federal relief, we need to save our Lakes Area restaurants, bars, breweries, gyms, water parks, event venues, theatres, etc. as well as the many people who were laid off before Christmas.
