Join us at 5Rocks Distilling for Business After Hours and the Brainerd Lakes Chamber’s exciting announcement of the inaugural Brainerd Lakes Area ATHENA Awards. It will be an evening of high-energy networking, mouthwatering appetizers catered by Passport (wonton cups, charcuterie board, Hawaiian chicken kebab skewers, and homemade chocolate chip and peanut butter granola bars) refreshing beverages (get in the vibe with the ATHENA Gimlet and other specialty cocktails), exciting prize drawings, and unbeatable business connections.
Whether you’re a seasoned member or brand new to the Chamber, this FREE event is the perfect way to grow your network, promote your business, and have a great time doing it. Don’t forget your business cards, you’ll have a chance to introduce yourself with the mic in hand.

Hosted by the Brainerd Lakes Chamber, this new event is the result of a women-led initiative to recognize and celebrate the women who strengthen our region. Apply, nominate, sponsor and register to attend! The deadline to nominate for the awards is February 8, 2026.

Celebrates an individual who lifts women and/or girls higher through professional excellence, community service, and active support of women’s leadership.
ATHENA Organizational Leadership Award
Celebrates an organization, group, or program that lifts women and/or girls higher.
ATHENA International
Recognizes outstanding women, pioneering leaders, and organizations worldwide. They celebrate those who embody the Eight Principles of Enlightened Leadership (live authentically, learn constantly, build relationships, foster collaboration, act courageously, advocate fiercely, give back and celebrate) and open doors of leadership opportunity to women and girls around the world.
