Throughout his tenure at the Northland Arboretum, he has built partnerships between local governments, businesses, nonprofits, schools, service clubs, volunteers, and community members, creating momentum around projects that no single organization could accomplish alone. His collaborative approach has inspired record volunteer engagement. He empowers staff, volunteers, and partners to contribute ideas, take ownership, and believe that ambitious goals are within reach.

Trevor’s influence extends well beyond the Arboretum. As the Region 2 Representative for Greater Minnesota Parks & Trails, he advocates for outdoor recreation, accessibility, and innovative land use across the state. Closer to home, he is an active member of both the Brainerd Noon Rotary Club and the Brainerd Noon Sertoma Club, supporting projects and initiatives that strengthen the Brainerd Lakes Area.

One of Trevor’s greatest strengths is his ability to help others believe in what’s possible.

Whether leading a major capital project or organizing a community event, he creates an environment where collaboration, creativity, and enthusiasm thrive. He intentionally builds a culture where people feel valued, ideas are welcomed, and hard work is balanced with celebration.

Those who work alongside Trevor often speak not only about what gets accomplished, but about how it gets accomplished. He finds ways to keep people engaged during difficult projects, celebrate milestones along the way, and remind everyone that meaningful work should also be meaningful to be a part of.
