Let’s congratulate three local businesses that were recently selected to the Explore Minnesota Tourism Council! We’re excited to have the tourism industry represented by three of our very own Chamber members!

Frank Soukup is also on the Brainerd Lakes Chamber Board, and Mike Schwieters is a past Chamber Board member.
The Tourism Council seats are appointed by Gov. Walz and Lt. Gov. Flannigan. The Explore Minnesota Tourism Council serves the broader interests of Minnesota tourism by promoting activities that support, maintain, and expand the state’s domestic and international travel market.
We look forward to these new council members representing the Brainerd Lakes Area at the state level!
